Biden’s Red State Revenge Tour Continues, Clamps Down on Timber Thinning and Commercial Logging Permits, Forces Closure of South Dakota Lumber Mill Founded in 1936

–Name a red state industry with good paying jobs and the Biden-Harris Administration’s economic revenge tour is there, using targeted regulation and vindictive policy to end projects and ruin lives in states that voted for Donald Trump. First, canceling the Keystone XL pipeline, costing 60,000 direct and indirect contractor layoffs and millions more future jobs via increased energy costs and across the board tightening of corporate budgets. Then canceling oil and natural gas drilling rights nationwide, including 80,000 acres of already approved oil and gas exploration leases in Louisiana threatening 250,000 petrochemical jobs. A billion dollar Ford Motor Company manufacturing facility slated for Trump-heavy Ohio, sent packing for Mexico by the Biden tax code.

–And in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, a family owned timber products and lumber business announces its closure this week, shutting down after Biden administration clampdowns on logging permits and timber thinning operations in the Black Hills National Forest. And it’s not just bad for business, it increases risk of fire in one of America’s treasured summer tourism destinations.
