BOMBSHELL: Did Hillary Server Forward 30K Emails to Chinese Equipment Company?
Documents released today by a Senate investigative committee reveal that all but four of 30,490 emails on Hillary Clinton’s unauthorized private email server were forwarded to a Gmail email address that bears striking similarity to the name of a Chinese company specializing in heavy equipment manufacturing.
Almost every email arriving at Hillary’s private server was subsequently forwarded (either manually or automatically) to “carterheavyindustries@gmail.com” an address that appears very similar to Shandong Carter Heavy Industry Co. Ltd., a Chinese manufacturing concern in the city of Linshu that seems to have done quite well reproducing CASE, Titan and Caterpillar mining, excavation and earthmover machinery designs. Shandong Carter is a subsidiary of Huasheng Zhongtian Group.
Did a Hillary “Hack” Cause the Destruction of CIA Operations in China?
The massive transfer of private email traffic from Hillary’s illegal private server was discovered during an investigation into a suspected Chinese hack of that server that seemed to coincide with the deadly unmasking and compromising of more than 15 Central Intelligence Agency assets in China. Because of the deletion of Hillary’s emails and the digital scrubbing of her servers with software meant to make files unretrievable, investigators were never able to confirm either a Chinese intrusion into her data or a connection between a possible hack of her server and the liquidation of a large number of Chinese citizens who had been cultivated as CIA assets working on behalf of the United States.
In 2017, the New York Times reported that the compromising, killing or imprisonment of more than a dozen assets had “crippled” United States intelligence gathering capability, sparking a system wide investigation of potential leaks that eventually led to public revelations of Hillary Clinton’s private email server and the potential accessing of that server for hostile actors and enemies worldwide.
The August 15th report issued by a committee headed by Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin contains a number of damning revelations regarding the efforts by the Obama White House to downplay Hillary’s mishandling of classified material and to minimize the scope of the infamous email scandal’s handling by the Department of Justice, an investigation demonstrably stymied by the destruction of evidence by Hillary’s technical staff including the deletion of emails from her servers and the use of specialized software known as “Bleachbit” to hide any remaining data traces that might be used to retrieve the missing emails.
The coverup operation, which was a potential violation of multiple federal laws regarding the handling of evidence under subpoena, destruction of evidence and obstruction of justice, appears to have effectively destroyed investigators efforts to either confirm or rule out a Chinese “hack” of the server, making it impossible to determine whether the email files were being automatically forwarded due to implanted spyware on the server, or whether Hillary herself had made the files available to the Chinese company.
According to an excerpt of a summary of finding on Grassley’s website:
Neither the committees nor the FBI were able to confirm whether an intrusion into the server occurred. Notably, Paul Combetta, who administered the server and used software designed to prevent forensic recovery while deleting Clinton’s emails, refused to speak with the Justice Department Inspector General (DOJ IG) and Congress. Nonetheless, the committees’ interview with Rucker and McMillian revealed new information about the classification review process conducted and tightly controlled by senior State Department officials.
Documents released today indicate that ICIG (Intelligence Community Inspector General) investigator Frank Rucker and ICIG attorney, Jeanette McMillian informed the FBI of the email forwarding anomaly at a February 18, 2016 meeting attended by Peter Strzok, the now disgraced bureau section chief overseeing the Clinton email investigation. Frank Rucker told Congress that Peter Strzok seemed “aloof and dismissive,” and disinterested in the nature of the forwarding problem and what it might mean.
Rucker also told Congress that an inspection of the system metadata, it appeared that the Carter Heavy Industries email address had been placed on the Clinton server externally, but that he was unable to confirm that fact without access to the server itself.
Answering questions before the Senate Finance and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committees in December 2018, Rucker and McMillian were asked to shed light on media reports (New York Times and others) that cited anonymous tips that China had backdoor access to Clinton’s server and had obtained information damaging to U.S. intelligence gathering operations inside that communist nation.
Today’s (8/15/2019) released documents include an April 9, 2019 letter from Inspector General Michael Horowitz to Senators Grassley and Brown indicating that the Carter Heavy Industries email account was created by network administrator, Paul Combetta, who managed Hillary Clinton’s email server and who told investigators that he had used the Carter Industries email address as a dummy account to transfer email between Hillary’s private server and a network server belonging to his employer, Platte River Networks.
Combetta’s lawyers indicated he created the email address in 2012. His lawyers also told the Inspector General that Carter Heavy Industries was a made up email name and denied any connection to Shandong Carter Heavy Industry Co. in China. While Inspector General Michael Horowitz indicated finding no evidence refuting Combetta’s defense, he does not indicate whether Combetta or his attorneys were ever asked how he decided on “carterheavyindustries@gmail” as a “dummy” email address or who else might have had access to that email address and for how long.
