After Man Hating TV Spot, Gillette Caught Using Hot Female Ass to Sell Razors
One week after it dropped, Gillette is still feeling the razor burn backlash of an ill-conceived television advertisement shaming men for generations of toxic masculinity and calling on every human being with natural beard growth to “be better,” in our compliance with the #METOO idiocy of the present social moment. Having a viral deluge of imagery from Gillette’s prolific use of beautiful female booty to showcase their brand is only adding to the laugh track.
Maybe they should have searched their own online presence. Maybe they shouldn’t have produced the absolute worst piece of social shaming and customer insulting pandering in marketing history to begin with.
Probably both.
Adding to the optical pain of Gillette’s man shaming marketing blunder? Having a simple Google search reveal that virtue-signaling Gillette has also been in the business of using curvaceous female models in beyond skintight latex bodysuits as walking billboards for their product. Not much more to say about that, except to note that the chorus line of tautly toned feminine backsides bearing the Gillette moniker in trademark corporate blue is part of the company’s European and North American motorsports sponsorship, with the bevy of bootylicious beauties turning heads and revving engines at both Formula One, Grand Prix and NASCAR events on several continents.
Enjoy this gallery of Gillette product placement. For thoroughness of research, of course.
