Dems Poll Panic: Trump’s Black Approval Rating 36% and Rising
A newly released Rasmussen poll shows Donald Trump with a 36% approval rating among black voters, nearly double the 19% mark last year at this time and dramatically higher than the 8% of African-Americans who voted for Trump in 2016. The number is a demographic stunner for identity politicians on the liberal left who have spent Trump’s time in office desperately sowing seeds of racial division and hate, painting Trump and his supporters as racists, Nazi’s, fascists and white supremacists. Trump received 8% of the African-American vote in November 2016.
By contrast, data compiled by Cornell University’s Roper Center for Public Opinion shows Mitt Romney won just 6% of the African American vote in 2012 while John McCain managed just 4% of African American support in 2008. Common political wisdom holds that in any given Presidential year, Democrats must capture a minimum of 90-92% of the black vote in order to win.
Trump’s stunning revival of the American economy and record low unemployment levels across the board, but especially for minority populations are believed to be behind his rising popularity among both blacks and Hispanics.
